Girls Volleyball

CLA Girls Volleyball plays with the Christian League at the Salvation Army Gym in San Diego. Games on Friday evenings. The league consists of teams from private homeschool organizations as well as private Christian schools from the San Diego area. CLA has several teams, 14U, JV, and Varsity level teams. Each team plays approximately 8 league games before playoffs. 14U and JV playoffs are single elimination matches, Varsity is double elimination.

There are also possibilities for high school teams to participate in 3 to 5 in-season tournaments through the San Diego Volleyball Club VolleyHigh program. Games/tournaments vs. Riverside/Orange County teams may be scheduled for both home and away. The season culminates with all teams competing at the California Homeschool Championships Tournament in Irvine, Ca.

This year, there is also the possibility of taking the top Varsity team to the National Home School Volleyball Tournament in Missouri.

Coaching Staff

Coach LeAnne Dalton

Head Coach – LeAnne Dalton

The CLA athletic community has been and continues to be a wonderful venue for our children to participate in. The opportunities for our kids of gaining athletic experiences while developing and maintaining Christ-like relationships is like no other program my family has ever witnessed or experienced. It’s truly special, and I have been blessed with the opportunity to play a small role in this community. God has placed within me the desire and ability to encourage, teach, and train the young athletes who come into our program. I am a homeschool mom of three boys, two of which are CLA graduates, all have been involved with athletics through CLA. I have 13 years of experience coaching high school volleyball, this being my tenth year with CLA as Head Coach. I very much enjoy the process of working with the young athletes, developing their physical and mental abilities within the game while helping them to develop a passion for the game. We look forward to welcoming your athletes into our program.

Coach – Wyatt Dalton

This is Wyatt’s tenth year involved with CLA volleyball. He grew up in the program—starting as an equipment manager and working his way up to the position of head coach (boys volleyball) and co-coach (girls volleyball) where he has served for the past four years. He loves the CLA community and is very happy to see what God has done, and continues to do, with CLA.
